Maternal Mortality is a dangerous silent epidemic in Africa.

Each year, allover the world, hundreds of thousands of Mothers die from preventable

  pregnancy and childbirth complications.

Our objective is to reduce maternal mortality by offering Free medical visits to Mothers

and children in Africa, by building new maternity/hospitals in places where health care

is inaccessible, Strengthening hospitals performance through the delivery of medical

equipment and helping in the prevention from diseases as:

  Cancer, HIV-AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis.

Since 2010, A.I.M became a member of "United Nations Civil Society Network".

Maternal and child survival:

The reality

Across the world, 2 women die every 3 minutes, 99% of deaths occur in

developing countries specially in Africa.

This means thousands of women dying every year from causes related to

pregnancy and childbirth.

80% of maternal and children deaths could be prevented if women and their

babies have had access to essential maternal health service.

In AIM, we are committed to concert our efforts to those of governments and

international organizations to improve maternal and child healthcare.

It is chocking to know that the risk of a woman dying as a result of pregnancy

or childbirth during her life time is about 1:6 in the poorest part of the world

compared to 1:37 000 in the northern Europe.

Additionally, the burden of maternal mortality is greatest in sub-Saharan Africa

and south Asia. That's why we concentrate our efforts in the African content.

Mothers and children deaths are often avoidable, but in many developing countries, access to skilled

birth attendants is limited and emergency care in the case of complications may be unavailable.

AIM intervention on the ground will be offered to the most vulnerable

populations who are far away from the basic necessity of an optimal

healthcare.
